Inclusive Programm
  • Mentor Mentee

Dungtse Central School has introduced a Mentor-Mentee system to provide personalized guidance and support for students. Under this system, teachers (mentors) are assigned a group of students (mentees) whom they closely monitor, guide, and support in both academic and personal development areas. Mentors meet regularly with their mentees to discuss progress, challenges, and goals, fostering a positive and supportive relationship. The system encourages open communication, allowing students to seek advice and share concerns with their mentors in a safe environment. This initiative aims to enhance students' academic performance, boost their confidence, and address any social or emotional issues, contributing to their overall well-being and success in school.

  • Club Activities

At Dungtse Central School, a variety of clubs actively engage students in co-curricular activities, promoting holistic development. These clubs provide platforms for students to explore their interests, develop leadership skills, and contribute to the school community.Key clubs include the Democracy Club, which fosters civic awareness and leadership, and organizes activities such as debates and elections. Other clubs focus on environmental conservation, literary arts, sports, cultural preservation, and social service. Each club is led by dedicated students and guided by faculty, ensuring alignment with educational goals while enhancing students' practical skills and teamwork abilities.

  • Scout Programm

The Scout Program at Dungtse Central School, approached as a whole-school initiative, aims to foster discipline, leadership, and community service among students. Through this program, students from different classes participate in various scouting activities, promoting teamwork, responsibility, and self-reliance. The program typically includes outdoor skills like camping, hiking, and survival training, alongside moral education that focuses on character-building, citizenship, and environmental stewardship. Regular scouting activities also involve community service projects, leadership training, and participation in national and local scouting events. This whole-school approach ensures that every student benefits from the program, contributing to their overall personal development while building a strong sense of unity and school pride.

  • Morning Nyendro

At Dungtse Central School, a 10-minute meditation session for students is conducted every morning to promote mental well-being, focus, and emotional balance. This daily practice helps students begin the day with a calm and clear mind, improving their ability to concentrate and manage stress throughout the school day. The meditation sessions often involve simple mindfulness techniques such as focusing on breathing, maintaining awareness of the present moment, and cultivating a peaceful mindset. By integrating meditation into the school routine, students develop a habit of self-reflection and inner calm, which enhances their overall academic performance and emotional resilience.
